“Richard Speirs is a tireless hunter-down of interesting wines, particularly from the Loire, Burgundy and the Rhone. His selections are always worth trying and frequently very good indeed”
– Charles Metcalfe, Joint Chairman of the International Wine Challenge.
I am very pleased to put all my experiences working in wine into this site. I have worked in the vineyards, sourced wines for importers and supermarkets and worked with winemakers in France. Wine critic Malcom Gluck called me “the wine trade’s worst salesman.” What higher praise is there?
– Richard Speirs
